Shame there was no Burlesque show on the sunday night but I am sure Scarlet & co will more than make up for it next year!
'Fraid that I and another act were really poorly in the weeks leading up to the event and Scarlet took the very hard decision to cancel - something she has never done before...We still got to 'perform' at the parade Victorian stylee on both Saturday and Sunday, got interviewed by local radio stations and the local papers and Scarlet, Susie and I won prizes in the dress competitions held on the Sunday afternoon.
We have already been planning next year with the organisers who were lovely folk with a real love and knowledge of all things Victorian; and APJ Productions will be filming so you'll have to wait til next year for all of our Victorian inspired acts...
In the meantime more photos are going up - Susie's Martin took some absolutely stunning ones of her and Scarlet on the jetty. They are on Susie's myspace and facebook pages.
Thanks for the lovely compliment on our costumes Kitty!!

Just checked out some of the pictures, it's bit surreal to see Victoriana mixed in with Star Wars and Dr Who.

Really nice pictures Candee. Nice how you managed to imbue the images with the mood of the day. :cooler: It looked like a fab time was had by all.

Was great to meet up with everyone, you were all so gorgeously attired... really, you all looked fantastic!
Was sad to have to rush off early but, even so I still have some great shots to go through.
I love dressing up too, maybe next year I might join in too!
Heres one to be going on with Candee ... more to follow on Flickr
