Hi Chesty,
last time the Bedlam Ballroom was on, means of getting hold of a ticket were a mystery until shortly before the event. I don't know why. But I assure you, it is happening.
Out of interest who is your bellydance teacher?
I learned in Belfast from Nuala Douglas, the first woman ever to teach it in Northern Ireland. I wonder if your teacher is part of Nuala's legacy too?

Hi Chesty
Sorry, haven't been online for a bit and also, more horridly, completely missed the Bedlam night in Belfast due to waitress/minion hell in Bangor the very same night.
Would be very interested in the links for your Holywood teacher so please post them if you wouldn't mind.
Hope everyone had a fabulous time in Belfast on Thursday and many tassles were twirled. I'm totally gutted that I missed the lovely Leyla Rose 's performance, but I shall await for the next event in earnest and keep my fingers crossed for something soon.

Oh, I though it was the 7th! But alas and arghhh godammit, I'm working again! I've got to watch bangor's dribbly couples gazing at each other over prawn a la deux at the frigging restaurant.
Maybe I should just be a lone guerilla for all that is single and shimmytastic Start my shift resplendent in corset, wiggle pencil skirt and seamed stockings...
I'm only being flippant because I'm totally gutted that I'm missing out. Leyla, please post some pics for me of the night if you take some, I youtubed your bellydancing/burlesque routine and it was beyond fabulous. Good luck, though I doubt you'll need it.
However I will be in Belfast the following friday night on a rare night away from being a waitressing minion, anyone know anything decent on that night?

Aw nuts. You would have had a blast, but if you're around Belfast the day of the show feel free to drop by the venue for a chat! Sorry you can't make it!

Wow, thank you I'm very flattered.
That's all that is left of me on You Tube after my other videos were banned due to my 'indecency'. If you want to see more of my prancing I have videos on my myspace www.myspace.com/leylarose.
That sounds awfully self indulgent but I don't like people thinking that I've only one vid out there. I have more but they are too rude it seems.
I hope you can make it to the next show. It really is a good night.
Love Leyla. x

I checked your myspace Leyla but your videos aren't showing for some reason, unless my browser is up the left
Saw your photos however and
a) Wow, that's some portfolio you have there, you look fantastic
b) I don't which I'm more jealous of - you meeting Josh Homme or Immodesty Blaize . IB is my no. 1 lady crush, JH, my rock star groupie crush. Lucky girl
On the other hand perhaps they're the lucky ones...
Have fun tomorrow night x

Thank you for the compliments, it means a lot
Mmm, yes Josh Homme. He's bloody enormous. I've never fancied him but he has a great presence. Missy and I were eyeing up the cheesecake in catering and looked up to discover this gigantic guy having a good ogle at us through his dark rockstar shades. I've never felt like I was PART of the dessert trolley before. When he moved off we were left feeling a bit giggly. And I don't normally do giggly. I can see why some could find him scary at first but he was very lovely and very willing to pout for my camera.
Immodesty was nowhere near as enormous and definitely better looking.
Shame you missed the Bedlam Ballroom but I hear there will be more. Let's hope so!
