Woo hoo! I shall make sure I dust in your general direction. I'm going to start a campaign for a Midlands Meet-up that just happens to be at The Leopard on Saturday 21st February (get your tickets now, going fast, and both last two shows sold out way before the date, roll up roll up and all that kind of stuff)
The Russian Doll Lass - like Shrek's onion, but with sequins...

Good advice!!
The very lovely Tempest is certainly spot on with her advice to book early as we have had a good day of ticket sales today so please dont hang around and book fast. We have a fantastic line up and this a show not to be missed!!

Ummm .... NO! Nina rocks, she's the original and the best (unless there's a pre-Nina version I don't know ...?)
Pffft, of course I know Kate Bush, the parents used to like her and Babushka is a classic - though not quite on the same scale as Wuthering Heights. I was just being a pedantic linguist is all ^_^

Hahaha Fleur you are absolutely priceless
Ok you win
(but Muse still sing the best version of Feeling Good so nah! And no, Nina Simone's one isn't the original, but it is the best known. It's one of the musical songs she covered (like Aint Got No, I Got Life from Hair) from a musical called Roar of the Greasepaint Smell of the Crowd by Antony Newley and another bloke (can't remember his name) and although I don't know who sang the original of the cast album, I've got a version by Julie London which I think pre-dates the Nina Simone one....it's on a round black piece of vinyl! The musical was Elaine Paige's first professional performance in a musical - you learn these useless facts if you listen to her show on Radio 2)The Russian Doll Lass - like Shrek's onion, but with sequins...

So sad  Jacob and I won't be with you for the February show we are off to celebrate my birthday in Berlin.
Your show will be amazing!!
The fab Lulu Spanx of Cherry Pop Pictures who does a mighty fine job of being official photographer for Dr Sketchy's Birmingham is looking forward to taking on that role at your next show.
I am sooo excited about performing at your Llandudno show in March.....
