Confusion!!
Hi All,
With a burlesque event that was held at our venue in burslem run by the venue owners it has caused some confusion. Scarlet and I run two burlesque nights at the moment they both are titled Scarlet Fever presents.... Burlesque . The show in Llandudno is Scarlet Fever presents... Burlesque by the seaside. If a show name starts with anything other Scarlet fever presents.... then its nothing to do with us
I just thought i would clear this up folks!! I am working on persuading Scarlet to start up event number three town to be announced soon so watch this space!!WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Ah yes, I know of that event well. I can vouch for Tony and Scarlet that they had nothing to do with the event as they had attended my show the very same night! Unless Scarlet and Tony can freeze time, teleport or clone themselves they were in Birmingham on the 29th of November.

Whats the confusion??
Just to let you good people know, the venue in question does not "belong" to anyone. How silly, my dearies!
The management are free to book whoever they choose to arrange entertainment on their premises.
At no time did any of our promotional material claim to be associated with Scarlet Fever .
Why ever should it be?

I believe the issue was that many many people decided that your event was associated with Scarlet Fever Presents - thus Tony and Scarlet had to deal with a lot of people who contacted them about something they did not have anything to do with.
I know that if The Flapper ran another burlesque night I would not be happy if people saw the show as the Silk Stocking Striptease Show - and I suspect the actual organiser behind it would not be happy with if Angel LaVey and I got all the credit for their hard work, although we could benefit from that by getting to organise private parties, other shows and corporate events on the back of another persons work.
I commend the actions of Tony and Scarlet for putting this post up, they have protected themselves, the identity of their shows and your hard work.

Summed up in a fair, objective and respectful way Gehenna! And I would agree wholeheartedly.I believe the issue was that many many people decided that your event was associated with Scarlet Fever Presents - thus Tony and Scarlet had to deal with a lot of people who contacted them about something they did not have anything to do with.
