Are there any Burlesque workshops run in Wales?
At the moment I've just been learning my own routines at home from videos and so forth, but I would really like to learn more practically with professionals face to face. However I live in a small community in Wales and burlesque isn't something that is advertised frequently. So I was wondering if whether anybody knew of any burlesque workshops happening in the country?

Hi Harmony!
I'm having the same problem. I'm close enough to Cardiff for daytime activities but it's difficult to get home in the evening (i'm public transport reliant).

A friend of mine (Violet Noir) who I dance with at What the Butler Saw in Cardiff goes to a worthshop, every tuesday I think - they were mentioned in the South Wales Echo last week so my Mum says!
I'm sure I have had a flyer about it *rummages in her flyer box*
ah-ha the teacher is called Foo Foo La Belle, Welcome from Miss Foo Foo La Belle or info@foofoolabelle.co.uk
Where are you situated Harmony? I live outside Cardiff and its a bugger getting there and back!

Hi Harmony
I go to the classes Lucy mentioned, Tues 6:30-7:30, but there's also classes on Saturdays 2-5pm, which might be easier to get transport for. We're working on routines for shows at the moment, but there's no pressure to perform in them! Have a look at the website Welcome to Burlesque Cardiff
