    Default Classes in Belfast?

Hi everyone, I don't know if this has been asked before but does anyone know of any classes in Belfast or the surrounding area? I've ordered the dvd but would like to attend a class as well if possible.

    Default Belfast Classes!!!

There's finally a Burlesque class happening in Belfast!! It's on Wednesday nights from 8.30 to 9.30pm, £5. It's in Inverary Bowling Club off the Holywood Road, the instructor is Karen Mallon. She also teached bellydancing and her website is ISIS Events.
Hope to see you there!! xx

    Cool!!

If I can make it I will totally go (work ALWAYS seems to get in the way)

Karen has been teaching bellydancing for years and is an amazing lovely lady and a brilliant teacher so Im sure her burlesque classes will be equally fantastic. (goes off to feel guilty about not making it to bellydance class for an exceptionally long time....)

    Axx

Sigh, I have circus school on a wednesday from 7.30 till 9.30. We're supposed to be getting ready for a cabaret thing at the end of November, dunno all the details, yet so I'll have to have a look at her site and see if I can join after that. Be pretty sweet though! Cheers Hall!

    Default Burlesque in Belfast..

I've been going to the classes , they're great, Karen is encouraging everyone to develop their own Burlesque identity, come up with a name (and more importantly - an attitude!!) and dress the part... I for one cannot be parted from my long satin gloves, they just make me dance better

Do you have to sign up for a certain amount of time, like a workshop or do you just go from week to week? After the cabaret at circus I was thinking of going to it on alternate weeks but I don't know if that's practical or not.

    Hi

I'm definitely going to attend for the first time tomorrow. I emailed Karen about what to wear and she said to wear something tight that was easy to dance in. Any ideas from anyone who has already attended? I've got the heels but am a wee bit shy/confused about the rest...
