Thread: Oxfam Vintage Weekend

Hey everybody, just letting you know that Oxfam are having a Vintage weekend at the Cardiff Boutique store in St Mary's Street on 26th and 27th June. There will be tea parties and everything vintage over the weekend including a burlesque on Sunday. Should be a lot of fun. Hope to see you there

Sounds good.Cardiff is a tad bit far for me.Is it something theyd be doing in other areas?

Hi, as far as I'm aware its just Cardiff Boutique that are holding the Vintage weekend. Hoping to get a lot of pictures etc so you'll be hearing all about it afterwards lol

I shall come back to have a look.
Maybe its a good thing they arnt doing this all over the country.I dont think my sleepy local town could handle anything Burlesque .There would be alot of flustered gentlemen needing a sit down.

10.30 – 12.30 – Learn to Crochet Flower Brooches (Materials provided)
1 – 2.45 – Live music and models
3 – 6 – Vintage hair and make-up

Planning a night out on Saturday night in that fab vintage outfit you bought from Oxfam? Why not pop in from 3-6 to get your hair and make up done for the night? £5 suggested donation.


Sunday 27/06

12 – 1.30 - Learn to knit (Materials provided)
1.45- 2.45 – Music and models
3- Afternoon tea party – cup cakes and tea.
Followed by
4.15 – Afternoon Delight. £5.

With tea party, cup cakes and tea coffee refreshments.
