Exclamation ATTN: Southern Gals in the Georgia area (or those who are close)

I just recently joined, have been apiring for years. I live in South Georgia, and am looking for somewhere to take classes or to join a team (that will allow patience for my learning). I would love to start a team, but that seems a little over my head. I'm having a little trouble narrowing the searches to find these things, either way I'm always looking for friends of similar interests that are close!

Default hmmm, as close as it gets for now...

perhaps, lol! I am located in El Paso, TX, and I'm a member of The Corset Kittens. Not close enough for you to join, but maybe we can be friends, for exchange and stuff. Our director is Siren Saint Sin (on my friends list) and maybe she can help with how to get a group started?

    That would be lovely!

And I actually -JUST- left Texas and moved back to Georgia! I have to return soon to pick up a few animals that I had to board due to the traveling circumstances, but I was in Copperas Cove. Right around the corner from Killeen and Fort Hood.

SHUT UP!!! LOL, I just left Killeen/Ft. Hood last April!!! I used to go to Copperas Cove to a little shop on Main Street called Gaia's Garden for bellydance lessons and essential oils. Why, oh why, does life screw with you like this sometimes hahahaha!

Hello! I'm brand new to this site, but not to Burly Q. I'm in Nashville, but I also travel up to NYC whenever possible.

How far are you from Nashville? I should be hosting/producing another burlesque cabaret show in the late spring/early summer and would love to see photos and video of one or more of your routines. Actually, I may have two potential opportunities for you... Let's keep in touch.

If you search for Burlesque in GA, I know of several revues in the Atlanta area - I perform in Columbus,GA and Albany, GA every now and again.

Look up 'Big City Burlesque ' and 'Blastoff Burlesque ' - Big City is more into serious glamour and super-elegant stuff, Blastoff is more into the comedy and vaudeville aspects of performing .

    Good luck!

Ocala, Fl here! not too far away. lol. there's a little bit of everything including rare burlesque at Disney!
but we have femmes de freak(where i debuted), hellcat burlesque (rock n roll punk theme), and the glamor vixens(hip/hop mod burly), in case anyone is interested. a few performers from every group offer private classes in certain dance types and look for new acts.
