Why is it so expensive? Sorry folks, but £18?!! The price of entry put me and a good number of friends going off to the summer event. Compare that to prices in London. Vegas nights were never that dear at the Renfrew Ferry. How is this price justified? I know its two nights combined into one (supposedly) however, if you look closely it's really only one. I thought Club Noir prices were a bit necky but even they're cheaper than this. The reality is it will be Xmas and people have got to watch their pennies at this time of year. Once you've paid for all your pressies and the office night out there's not a lot left. The drinks in the Fruitmarket are really pricey too.

Have you ever put on a night? It costs a hell of a lot, especially when you do it properly, as Blond Ambition always do. The price can be easily justified by the cost of the venue and the performers - most of these are being flown in and accommodation has to be paid for as well as their fee. It is your choice if you want to watch all amateur performers and pay a tenner, or even to see local acts - don't get me wrong, we have fantastic performers here in Scotland but it's nice to ring the changes - but I am very happy to be able to see a really professional show for only £18. Actually I met a lovely bloke from the south of England at the last event and he was shocked how cheap the event was and keeps going on and how they can do such an amazing event for such a low price and suggested tickets for the combined event should be more like £30. And although folk may be watching their pennies at Christmas, venues tend to cost more and performers are in more demand, so it's not as though it costs the producers any less to run an event, and there is the added pressure of everyone expecting a proper spectacle for a Christmas event.
You may want to check the tone of your posts in future- I think you are being quite confrontational about the price and to make comments like "How is this price justified?" simply show how naive you must be, anyone who has ever put on any sort of performance event will be able to see very easily how this price is justified, and indeed is probably wondering how the ticket price is so low.Unleash your inner vixen with Queen Bea accessories!
