Glad to hear you had a great time, Hun!

BTW for anyone who's interested Dr Silverlight was kind enough to use our dodgy video recorder (which really needs an external mic) record the act I debutted that night during the first half. The results are below (sorry about the sound distortion!):

I hope you like it - all feedback gratefully received!

To provide some feedback, I understand that it was his first time- but it would have been nice if the compere had come on stage at the end of each act rather than leaving the stage empty for a minute or so each time. I also got the impression that noone was sure of the running order for most of the time.

    Hello everyone, DrSilverlight,

You've caught me out! It was my first time.

We had one or two technical difficulties (blasted gremlins!) which required us to amend the running order on the fly. I did require a minute or so after each act to confirm that the next act was ready for take off! (Top priority was avoiding introducing the wrong performer.) Clearly, the situation was far from ideal but, blah blah blah, makes you stronger, and all that jazz.

So, here I stand, one performance stronger and ready for my next engagement!

I'm as new to this forum as I am to compering and I don't want to get off-topic, but if your good self or any other experienced performers, comperes, fans, etc, have advice to offer then I am all ears, my boy!
