Daiquiri, two small things you haven't taken into account:

    1. You are younger and much more fabulous than me! :genius:

    2. You are also not a borderline alcoholic like me! (Actually, I don't go to meetings, so I'm a drunk! :eyebrows

Really looking forward to seeing you at the Midwinter Ball, and hopefully at the Bongo Club too!

BTW, you're cameo on thursday was excellent too. :twothumbs: (Although, I really do think Impressive enjoys himself FAR too much!!!!)

I'm getting sent to Germany with work, but if they sort my flights and shifts I will do my best to come along (and bring your tapes!)

Rufus and I are absolutely gutted that we won't be able to perform this time round, it's no secret that The Bongo Cabaret is one of our favourite gigs.

I have no doubt that it's going to be a fabulous night, it always is, and if we could be there we absolutely would.

Will be thinking of you all whilst getting Sketchy in Glasgow.

Check out the flyer to see Charlie and I in our luxurious country pad, swooning (and sweating) romantically by the fireside! Two sleepy people, in the cosy chair... chestnuts roasting... the smell of expensive brandy and pipe smoke on his breath... the puff of smoke and painfully singed puppet hair... ah... what a wonderful Christmas that was....!

It will be good indeed! Yet another huge weekend of burlesque and cabaret action in Scotland with the Glasgow Bizarre Bazaar craft fair on the Saturday afternoon, Burlescapades in Edinburgh and Club Sapphire in Aberdeen that night, not to mention Dr Sketchy's Glasgow on the Sunday as well! Phew we're all going to be knackered on Monday!

Myself and the fabulous Suzuki Sparks are hoping to manage along for this too. Just heard that the friends we have for dinner on Saturday are arriving at around 4pm It'll be a hectic weekend to try and rush around everything that we want to do! Probably end up stood outside the Concert Hall for the start of the Bazaar at this rate:daft:

    Question

    Ok, Silly question time ...

I'll be bringing my other (some say better) half along to the Bongo on Sunday and am keen to check whether a dress code will be in force? If so I will need to start pleading with the scruffy begger to polish his shoes and look out a classy ensemble now!

What a lovely Cabaret & Burlesque filled weekend awaits us!!

I don't *think* there's a dress code, I've never seen one in operation at the Bongo (but then I've only ever been during the Fringe) - but I'm sure if you *want* to dress up to the nines it would fit in very well - the Bongo is such a cool, laid back, and ever so slightly WEIRD .... show...!

Wild Card Kitty could advise better, I'm sure......
