We are back in the magnificently opulent environs of the Assembly Rooms ballroom, and are delighted to say we have been able to considerably increase the amount of table seating available. Our previous events have sold out well in advance, so please get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Burlescapades - an elegant evening of champagne and cocktails with a dazzling
stage show starring some of the world's finest burlesque and cabaret
entertainment.

Doors: 9pm til 1am, show 10pm til 11:30pm

Baby, it's cold outside! Slip into sumptuous satins, voluptuous velvets and fabulous furs and wallow in the warmth and opulence of the Assembly Rooms’ magnificent ballroom, transformed into a winter wonderland for the Burlescapades Midwinter Ball.

There you can sip sparkling champagne under twinkling chandeliers whilst enjoying a full-length show featuring the finest burlesque and cabaret, before gliding across the gilded dancefloor to the vintage sounds of Christmas past.

Our festive cast of Christmas belles will be squealing with delight as they unwrap their eye-popping presents especially for you, and burlesque's most enchanting Snow Queen, Lily White, will heat things up with her spectacular Victorian Christmas act. Your host is the furry Fred Bear, Miss Fancy Chance is preparing to gently tug at her satin ribbons until her yuletide gifts are revealed, while Daiquiri Dusk and her troupe of teasing temptresses will warm the cockles of the coldest heart. Illusionist Colin McLeod will captivate as he seizes your mind and toys with your soul. Preening peacock Chris Wilson seduces with his magnificent plumage and Ryan Styles will leave you enchanted by his strange and sentimental cabaret.

Our Midwinter Ball comes but once a year, so whether you've been naughty or nice, treat yourself to something special! Enjoy the magical atmosphere and style of a bygone era at Scotland’s most elegant night out. Also on hand will be the Organic Pleasures Burlesque Boutique, offering a sophisticated selection of corsets and accessories.

DRESS CODE:
Snow queens, Christmas belles, festive finery, Santa's little helpers, fabulous fairies, enchanting elves; also burlesque glamour, vintage, retro and decadence! Definitely NO: jeans, trainers, and casualwear.
