Calling all burlesque debutantes!
Hi all,
Just to say that myself and Harlequin Kiss will be running the next Burlesque Performance Night at Glasgow's Britannia Panopticon on Thursday 4th December and we are looking for performers.
Our mentor Miss Gypsy Charms established this night last year as a place for aspiring burlesquers to debut in front of a friendly crowd and it is a great night. Attendance is by invitation only so the audience is made up entirely of family and friends and it's a wonderful, warm, friendly, encouraging atmosphere and a fabulous community event. Such up and coming Scottish burlesque stars as Sunday Blue, Calliope Cootch and Madison Rose made their debut here and we are looking for folk to follow in their footsteps!
So if you fancy treading the boards, please give me a shout. It does not have to be your debut performance! We would like a mix of beginners and more established performers, with the whole night culminating in a fabulous extended act by the Dance House Performance Class . For further incentive, the night will be attended by Blonde Ambition, the new organisers of High Tease , and they will be looking for beginners to take part in the next Battle of Burlesque ! :excited:WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Hi Queen Bea,
I underrstand that Lilly is making her stage debut during this fine evening, and was wondering if I could ask you a question?
I know that she likes to analyse her routines, so would it be ok to take a camera to record her performance (and only hers) for posterity? I can be very discrete...
Or could the production of recording equipment result in :warn: followed by :duck: then possibly a :blackeye: ?
