YOUR LITTLE PRINCESS IS MY LITTLE WHORE - a show by Wild Card Kitty at the Fringe '10
YOUR LITTLE PRINCESS IS MY LITTLE WHORE
16th-28th August (not 22nd) at 10.40pm
in TheSpaces @ Surgeons Hall in the Grand Theatre.

Youth, vanity, aging, obsession with sex and their portrayal in the media are lampooned in this riotous burlesque revue featuring comedy, dance and drama.
Wild Card Kitty, Scotland's premiere Showgirl, heads the outstanding cast featuring a hand-picked selection of burlesque ingénue and physical theatre performers. Pastiche performances, striptease, video segments and performance art melt into one another, as aspects of sexuality and femininity are explored with a cheeky wink and mischievous smile.
Award-winning Kitty has performed widely across the UK and in the USA and previously produced the infamous Vaudeville Cabaret Club and Bongo Club Cabaret at the Fringe to five-star acclaim.
The media are already buzzing with interest about this show, make sure you don't miss out on a ticket available from the Fringe Box Office by calling 0131 226 0000 now or buy online here: Your Little Princess Is My Little Whore | Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2010.
Tickets also available from TheSpaces venue from 4th August on 0845 508 8515
Ticket price only £8 (£7 concessions).
This show is produced by The Kitten Has Claws, with PR support by Itsy.

Wowza, sounds a blast. I will definitely be checking this out while I'm there!
I am not domestic, I am a luxury, and in that sense, necessary.

On a totally unrelated note...NOOO! I've been using the same burlesque name as you, Ms de Leir, albeit spelt differently (and for hosting/comedy, rather than dancey dancy performing ). I will stop, I've only had it a few months and haven't done too many gigs with it. Argh! It's like we turned up at the same party wearing the same name.
Otherwise known as Madame Myfanwy - available for shows, funerals and inappropriate groping of herself

rehearsals, costuming and workshopping are well underway for this show. Barely time to think in between everything else!
I'm very excited about the show and my small yet perfectly formed cast (more on them later...) but first I'd just like to say we've been lucky enough to have been mentioned in The List Festival Preview magazine, currently out now and I'm also super pleased to announce that we've been selected as one of ThreeWeeks "3 to See" in the Festival- that's right out of 3000, my show was lucky enough to be tipped! In a rare moment of calm right now before gearing up for the next onslaught of last minute rehearsals for this show thought I'd let people know that in the first instance you can expect performances from:
Chassy Van Klaas: Canadian export to the UK, she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the LBF 2010 and is a popular regular on the Scottish Scene, known for her slightly weird slant on routines (as anyone that has seen and loved her War of the Worlds routine with Sparky Strange will testify to)
Ammie Jay: a physical theatre performer who works with BrightNight International and specialises in Butoh and creature movements. She has performed in many street theatre shows over the last year and taken part in the recent Surge Street Arts Festival in Glasgow and is also skilled in stilt-walking.
and
Dizzy Godiva: aka one of the Vegas! showgirls, she's performed Burlesque on the quiet for 2 years now as well as being trained in static trapeze and in acrobalance.
The Fringe Office is nearly sold out of its allocation of tickets for some nights, so if you are intending coming, get yours now!!The Ace in the Pack... or The Knave hello@wildcardkitty.com
