The SURGE Festival takes place in Glasgow 23rd - 25th July, presented by CONFLUX - an organisation founded to develop and promote a thriving community of artists and educators working in the fields of street arts, physical theatre and circus in Scotland.

The festival will be hosted by The Arches and will present performances and masterclasses both inside the venue and at nearby outdoor locations . The 2012 festival will involve collaborations with venues, both indoor and out, across the whole of Scotland.

Places are available for a free 2-hour masterclass in Street Theatre as part of the SURGE festival on the afternoon of FRIDAY 23rd July. Class attendees will then participate in CONFLUX MAXIMUS: a spectacular grand parade involving over 60 performers and will receive free admission to the SURGE Cabaret at the Arches that night!
