Thread: Movers and Shakers Glasgow Wed 23rd June!

A massive thanks to everyone who came to the last edition of Movers and Shakers! Just to shake things up a bit, (we’re crazy like that!) the next session is going to be on a Wednesday!

As always we are looking for rising stars, debutants, and those who have new things to try out, so if you are interested in performing please email me; vendettavain@yahoo.co.uk

As with the previous event, if you would like to be part of the audience, you will also need to email me to be put on the guest list. The Panopticon is a strictly limited capacity venue so admittance will be by guest list only.

Movers and Shakers is a free event run to support the burlesque community and help raise funds for the restoration of the Britannia Panopticon Music Hall, please check out previous threads, or email me for more info!

This is going to be a good one! Dance House Burlesque Improvers and Can-can classes are both performing : The Improvers class will be dazzling in a group fan dance routine, while Mr Impressive Johnson plays a can-can theatre landlord who's determined to get his overdue money one way or another!

I'm really looking forward to this - last one was fantastic and such a buzz. x

looking forward to this evening immensely too, the last show was an absolute blast...will be transporting you back to world war two again with "Totally Rational"...hoping to lay my hands on the very last pair of nylons available during clothes rationing...fingers crossed. xxx

Looking forward to it, but also - looking at the names on the bill - have this feeling like I have to try hard and prepare REALLY GOOD performance to really earn the right to be on that stage !!! Wish me luck

This will be the first time I have done this since having a stroke 4 years ago, so peeps - if I fall on my ass, remember that it really IS an intentional part of my routine LOL.

The feedback that I got from the people who attended was entirely possitive. Everyone had a good time and there were no "Costume Errors" this time. LOL ! A fun night, thank you to ALL the performers.

The stage manager had a costume error... She wasn't looking nearly glamorous enough. Tsk.
