A Secret Little Burlesque Show
We have reached out to all corners of the country to bring you the most varied and spectacular show in the most intimate of surroundings. This is your opportunity to be part of this lavish extravaganza in the stunning setting of Hutcheson’s Hall. This is part of Braewell's week of cultural shock!
Headlining is Roxy Velvet, including her incredible Birdcage performance, and her pyrotechnical ballet show. Not to be missed!
She is supported by Leyla Rose, performing her dance of the seven veils and her infamous Heartbreaker routine.
Also appearing will be the luscious Vendetta Vain performing her legendary fan dance .
Leggy Pee will be showing her talents as DJ Pee but we're sure that Charlie will put in an appearance!
Piff the Magic Dragon will amaze you with his magical show with audience participation.
Lucille and Gorman delight us with the perfect blend of heartbreak and humour in their sultry music.
And finally; no Burlesque evening would be complete without the charms and guidance of our compere extraordinaire, Rufus T.WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Will be calling for my tickets today - if I miss this I will be one sad Dee, and we can't have that.
I really cannot say enough good things about Roxy's birdcage performance and I for one can't wait to see it again.
What a spectacular show, massive congrats to all involved!

Was in the venue today sorting things out for the show on Saturday - It's going to be epic!
The venue is so beautiful with a huge staircase leading to a wonderful Victorian hall.
Very excited!

I'm totally hyped about this one. Gorman and I have had the pleasure of singing in Hutchesons Hall once before and it was glorious, not least because it's kitted out with a GORGEOUS grand piano. I can't speak for him but I'm sure we just sound better on a grand.
It might be worth pointing out that there might be a special ticket offer for this for people using social media so get following RwP on Twitter/Facebook and add the Braewell Galleries for updates.

The exhibition launches tonight which I'm really looking forward to; new work being showcased by some of Scotland's leading artists which will feature some of the burlesque scenes most familiar faces.
I love a bit of high glamour and free booze of a midweek!

I saw a poster for this in the Underground yesterday! My delight was short-lived, however, when I saw it had a question mark missing from it... *shakes head*
Hope everyone has a fun night! Be sure to hurl abuse*coughs* I mean whoop and cheer at Ms Rose on my behalf.

Yay! What a great night in a lovely little venue. I have to say that it felt and looked just a little like my parlour. Charming.
Once again well done to RwP for putting on an excellent night and to all the performers for giving it 100%. Each singer did at least one number that really showed their impressive abilities.
Mr Fast and I discussed the various merits of our different seating arrangements during the interval and I think he had one over on me when he told me that the delightful Vendetta Vain has "some balls" for doing that particular fan dance . Whilst my seat afforded a fantastic view, I simply could not see what the chap was meaning.......
Thank you one and all.
