Performers needed for Glasgow Shows
Hello one and all,
So, after flinging myself back onto the MoB after quite a while away, I thought I should use it to get networking!
As as few of you will know, I run a couple of nights in Glasgow, on mainly a monthly basis. My wee black book is quite full, but I'm always looking for new talent!
Basically I'm looking for 2 different types of performers:
1 - Performers who are regulars on the scene, have quite a few shows under their belts, and who can direct me to their pages with videos, showreels etc. These also need to be performers who don't mind appearing at nights that have a low budget (for the reasons below).
2 - Performers who are just starting out, and want to appear at 'open-stage' slots. Open-stage performers will mainly not be paid, but the nights are good exposure, always a fun and friendly environment, and a good place to meet more seasoned Burlesquers and watch a great show!
A lot of nights that I book are charity events and fundraisers, so even the paid slots are minimal budget.
So, to get in touch, please email me at:
dollytartan@hotmail.co.uk
and send me links to your pages, and details of your acts, and what sort of slots you are aiming for.
I'm hoping for a good response from this, so please don't be offended if I don't get back to you straight away. I'm also putting together a list of performers for future shows, so if I don't book you immediately I'll of course add you to my list.
Thanks, and hope to hear from you soon

having just finished two Shows with dolly in one week, I'll say there are a hell of a lot of fun and you are very well looked after, by looked after I mean I couldn't look at anything brighter than a 3 watt bulb the next day. Excellent times and she has a hell of a wit on stage.

Sounds good. I'm in the 'on the scene and been around' bracket, for better or worse!
I've been meaning to do more Glasgow gigs too.
I'll send a wee email and you can of course browse my website.

Yo Tartan! You know if you ever need someone to take care of your stage(s) you can give me a shout, right? I'm sure you've got it covered, but just in case...! x

I can also say that Dolly is a brilliant hostess and wonderful to work with!
I took part in her new night at La Cheetah and had a fantastic time.

Thanks!
Hi Guys,
Just a wee 'thank you' to everyone for their kind words - glad you're all having as much fun as I am at the nights!
Miss Carrie - of course you can come and help!
I've had a great response so far, and it's taking me a while to get to reply to everyone, so please don't hate me if I've not got back to you yet - a response will be on it's way!
Thanks,
Dolly x
