Smile Loveboat Cabaret - Sun 14th Feb

Anchor Cabaret Productions presents...Loveboat Cabaret.
featuring Captain Anchor, Lily de Lure, Chassy vanKlass and Sparky Strange!

The Loveboat will set sail on Sunday 14th of February, featuring up and coming performers from Edinburgh and Glasgow in the mood for love! The show will take place in the decadent surroundings of the Voodoo Rooms Speakeasy, a haven for burlesque and cabaret fans. This special show will delight with love songs and lust!

The cabaret show will feature live vocals, boylesque, burlesque and will be hosted by Captain Anchor, who has hosted several events at Edinburgh style bar, ‘The Street’. The ‘Hello Sailor!’ events were successful enough to warrant a move upwards in the production area, in terms of sound, light and drama!

The show is for at anyone who would like to relax on Valentines night and see a show that is humorous and visual, and entertaining. The Capn' would like to invite
'MOB' fans especially, knowing how supportive you guys are of local shows.
See the poster for full details and line up! The event starts at 9.30pm sharp!

Some performers I haven't seen in action- always worth checking out a new show! And since this one is free- who could resist taking a wee mosey on down. Saucy antics, I trust to get you in the mood for Valentines night?!

Yes Indeed, a sultry valentines night musical and burlesque treat.. and thats just the opening number! which is highly likely to be 'Big Spender'.

It should be wonderful, as the speakeasy
is set up for cabaret seating so people can lounge around, listen to cabaret torch songs and watch burlesque.

And its free entry as its a
bit of a showcase for both my own talents and the other performers.
Sparky will be our first 'boylesquer', ChassyvanKlass will be singing and doing a duo act. And Lilly De Lure has not one but TWO acts up her more than capable sleeve. Lilly has been a resident since I started doing shows,
so she is sure to be a showstopper!

To get audience members in the mood for love, there will be some chocolate on the tables to nibble (!) in between acts. mmm.

Hope to see some MOB people there! Love is in the air! Or is that just the smell of the toilets!

Hiya Captain Anchor!

I don't know if I'll be able to make it to your Cabaret or not, but I did have a look at your website and watched the video of you singing. You have an amazing voice! Absolutely lovely!! Anyone reading this thread should go have a look.

Why thank you. Well you will just have to come see me perform live then! I certainly have lots more shows planned so keep you eyes peeled, as it were. Also find me on facebook and myspace. links on the site also.

In the meantime. LOVEBOAT CABARET IS TOMMOROW NIGHT!

I do hope everyone shows their support and we have a wonderful cosy cabaret at
the speakeasy. The speakeasy is a beautiful venue and the event is free in as its our first time at Voodoo Rooms as a show. It should be a great show and I'm looking forward to doing a unashamedly smoochy valentines show!

Come say hi to the Captain if you do attend.

over and out.

Capt A.

Hi, really glad you enjoyed it. It was a fun show to do! And you gotta love the voodoo rooms for Cabaret and Burly.. Keep an eye out for more events advertised on the 'MOB'.
