North Glasgow College Presents: DEAD FAMOUS
The lovely Music students at North Glasgow College, based in Springburn, are starting what they hope to be a monthly entertainment evening in the Admiral bar, Glasgow City Centre.
This month's evening will be held there on Wednesday the 27th January 2010 and will have plenty for all to come and see! Including superb local bands and artists, the night will also give way to a few of Scotland's jaw-droppingly stunning burlesque starlets!
Performers confirmed are: Kari Von Regardless, Miss Lady V & Miss Whisky Blitz.
Speaking from experience , the NGC gig evenings always turn out to be fabulous, so this one is sure to be double amazing! Make sure to put this date in your diaries folks..or you'll have me to answer to!
Doors at 7:30pm. Tickets available at door ~ Price TBC. (usually are no more than a fiver!)

Apparently this IS already a monthly night and is reasonably successful, so the burley element would be new. That means that there is already a core of attendees.
It's just not the greatest area of the city......Smouldering like the charred remnants of the British Economy.....

Yeah the prices for drink are pretty good! Another excuse to come along

The event has just become a monthly evening. Before it was more of a gig/open mic night that ran every 2/3 months, but I believe the lecturer that helps run it wants to branch out and make it more of an entertainment evening and gather a bigger crowd!
I was asked to help them organise it and we seem to have had quite good feedback about attendees so far! Which is exciting
Also, the lovely Twinkle Starr has just confirmed with me she will be able to perform which is yet ANOTHER reason to come along! It should be a fantastic night
