this will be the 'prestigious club' that doesn't comply with the basic of fire regulations and have security but don't display SIA passes?

Not bringing the performance down but I would have serious concerns with various essential aspects as organiser before announcing the next date.

Hello

Thankyou for responding to our thread. We can see your concerns and after receiving your post we have been ensured by the venue owner that the venue in question DOES meet fire regulations and we will be providing our own SIA approved Security Staff.

Dolly Dusk Burlesque wants to ensure all our party goers that safety is our number one priority and wish everyone a fantastic night with plenty more to come.

Hope to see you there!

Dolly Dusk xoxo

Can't comment with regard to the complying with Fire Regulations point, but I feel I can make comment with regard to the Security aspect raised...

Having attented a good few gigs at the venue in question, and having got to know the security staff pretty well through regular custom, I can safely say that they are in possession of S.I.A badges...

I know this to be true as when I spoke to the head doorman (Tall, Dark and Broad) about the possibility of working in his venue, I was informed that I would have to gain a license before I could start. When I enquired further, he promptly pointed towards his waist where hanging was a little blue card where his delectable mugshot was plain to see alongside the letters S.I.A...

Helpful, friendly and capable....The type of security I would like there to be in every club I patronise....
