Hi a I am looking for a night in london that would be sutable for me to do my first perfomance in many yrs ( I used to strip yrs ago) somewhere frendly and fun that has a newbies nights would be cool either the end of the yr or jan 08 or a bit sooner Im open to serjestions. thanks

My first time (on stage) was at the local open mic night. Not quite the same as the singer/songwriter/guitarists, but I'd gone there in a vaguely burlesque-style costume and after some thought, decided to get up and chat for five minutes about life, the universe and everything.
There was a heckler, who actually did me a favour by giving me something to talk about, and my final trick of pushing hatpins through my face went down pretty well. And the heckler came up and shook my hand afterwards. Anyway, enough about me. I'm just an amateur but, well, you never know...
