Hey all
I couldn't find the jobs section on here, which is where I thought this should go so I'll put it on here instead.
I was recently contacted by an Assistant Director working for BBC Scotland called Derk Ritchie, who is looking for burlesque performers to shoot for a pilot episode for a new tv series. The work is unpaid but it looks like it will be a lot of fun. I have agreed to take part but they need more people, so details are below. Please contact the email address provided below with any queries.

BBC Drama- ‘Phoo Action’
BBC Scotland is currently in production with a pilot for an original new drama series called ‘Phoo Action’. This is based on Jamie Hewlett’s 90s comic strip for ‘The FACE’ magazine called ‘Get The Freebies’, and we need your help.
2012: Hong Kong Detective Terry Phoo aids Police Chief Benson stop mutated criminals ‘The Freebies’ in their campaign against the Royal Family.
We need enthusiastic Burlesque clubbers for 2 day’s filming in Glasgow in September, exact dates TBC. The scenes will involve a battle between Hong Kong martial arts expert Terry Phoo and the criminal mutant Freebies and their minions, and we need people to be the club crowd. The director wants to make this highly stylised drama look as interesting as possible, and we will be featuring the best dressed and made-up supporting artistes as much as possible!
Although we cannot pay, we will feed everyone each day and there will be Gorillaz/ Jamie Hewlett goodies up for grabs. We will also have the finest martial arts experts and prosthetics designers working with us on set!
