Default Edith Piaf Audition-help with audition piece?

i'm very excited as I've been offered an audition for the role of Edith Piaf in an established touring production about her friendship with Marlene Dietrich, however I am in a quandary as to what audition piece to do!

anyone here who acts as well as burlesques and maybe has some ideas? or websites that might help? I've googled but can't find any.

    love xx

I used to be an actress and still use lots of character work in my acts, and in normal life!
It might help to steer clear of anything with an obvious link to either of these fabulous ladies, they will have an idea of what they want and you don't want to go in there with a very definite character that they feel may not have potential to change. Maybe a piece about an a si:kiss:milary independant character, maybe in the same era or even more up to date if you're struggling. They will want to see potential to mould you in to what they want, whilst still seeing that you can contribute your own ideas.
Having read that back, I haven't helped you at all really as I know of no specific pieces but maybe go with more the theme of the part, not the specifics.
Let us know how you get on.
