New Year Resolutions
So it's the time of year that people will start to make resolutions. Almost certainly a lot of them will include weight loss (although there is no way anyone will start that until after the Christmas indulgence!) So I thought I'd kick off with my resolutions. Some are pretty standard.
1) Lose the required amount of weight, and set up a slimming group with friends who find themselves in the same situation
2)Take more care of my outer body, ezcema etc
3) Develop a facial skincare regime AND stick to it religiously!
4) Spend more time making peace with myself
5) Be grateful for what I have, take time out to appreciate the people in my life
6) Visit Las Vegas and LA with Geoff
So people, what are yours? I've got a good feeling about 2009! The credit crunch is only a problem if we let it be. As the Chinese proverb says 'Happiness comes not from getting what you want, but from making the best of what you've got':twothumbs:WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

This year's resolution was to get some work overseas... and that worked out well for me!
Next year:
- Don't be so stressed. I need to take more from Taoism, and to meditate more.
- Continue what I've started learning since being in Germany - become a better clown, strengthen my characters, polish all my acts.
Is that enough?

Hmmm I guess mine would be:
1) To not be so hard on myself.
2) Learning how to smile.
4) Letting the little things make me happy before putting so much concern and stress on the big stuff.
3) and if I can't be happy well hopefully I'll at least find contentment!

The only resolution I have ever made was around 1977 when I made the resolution NOT to make any resolutions........................

Hmmm probably to lose that summer weight. I was doing well, and then Christmas approached and I thought what's the point?
So as of January I will start again.
To relax more, although I think that will be easier now that I don't have the whole moving/ school experience thing hanging over my head.
To perform more and improve myself as a performer.Snowflakes and Sparkles

my new year resolutions are to:
1) drink more water and green tea and less 'normal' tea because, i really see the difference in my skin when i do.
2) not to neccessarily lose weight but to tone up.
3) not leave my work for college to the last minute.
i think they will be pretty easy to stick to, although i might struggle without my tea fix lol!

- To stick to my gym routine to get my figure back to the place where it (and I) is happy
- To stick to my skincare routine
- To stop drinking tea with milk - I'm sure I have a sensitivity to milk and tea is beginning to make me feel ill and bloated >_<
- To polish all my existing routines until they are at a standard with which I am more than happy
- To get more work and become a more established performer, and to build up a good solid reputation on the circuit
I think a couple of them are doable!
