Why do women have to be such bitches
Sorry but i need some where to let off some steam

There is a woman that works with my partner and more some unknown reason she hates me!
I was at a birthday party a few weeks ago and she was really rude to me, and last night she tuned up to my house warming party and actually had the audacity to be rude to me in my own house. I have been trying to be really nice to her through gritted teeth because i don't want to give her any more ammunition, but i really want to smack her in the face:blackeye:. My partner thought I was being paranoid, until last night another girl who he works got drunk and slipped up, she said, " I don't know why they bitch about you I think your lovely"
I got her tell me exactly what she meant, and it turns out this woman has been bitching about me. Apparently you have to watch out for me because i'm opinionated! god forbid a female should have an opinion on anything in Tasmania.
It just annoys me when women do this, life is difficult enough why do people want to make it harder :wallbash:
Sorry but i really needed to get that off my chest.WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

It's probably just that she's jealous of you. That's usually why girls are bitchy. Take it as a compliment, smile sweetly and rise above it!!!!!

Sounds like a dominance game - she is trying to position herself as alpha female. Men do the same but in a rather more direct manner - nothing to do with any inherent honesty but more because most men lack the social skills to be properly sneaky so go for the bragging and biceps approach. She quite possibly thinks that your partner is the local alpha male and you outrank her and that is giving her the impetus to act like this. If you really want to annoy her be nice to her especially in situations where your partner is paying you attention - it will drive her nuts with beta-dom!
By the way don't expect your partner to notice - socially men and women act on completely different levels (women may be political animals but your average man has barely made it to tribal) what you think is obvious will barely register with him.

Yeah very true. I think the other girls at their workplace are quite scared of her. But I have a reputation for speaking my mind and I think she doesn't like that i'm not scared of her. I am trying to be so nice to her, its killing me as I really just want to rip her head off, but I will not let her have the satisifaction. :wallbash:

Ignoring her is the best policy, but if you are up for it, exchanging insults, hurtful insults, will show her that you are not someone to be pushed around.
But if you do start an insult war, be prepared for a long siege. Here's a few to help you.
People like you don't grow on trees, they swing from them.
I could say nice things about you, but I would rather tell the truth.
I never forget a face but in your case I'll make an exception.
I know I'm talking like an idiot. I have to, other wise you wouldn't understand me.
Most of us live and learn, you just live.
I like you. People say I've no taste, but I like you.
I like your approach, now let's see your departure.
I can't seem to remember you name, and please don't remind me!
I can't talk to you right now; tell me, where will you be in ten years, I'll make sure I'm not there.
You must have gotten up on the wrong side of the cage this morning.
You possess a mind not merely twisted, but actually sprained.
You remind me of the ocean - you make me sick.
You should do some soul-searching. Maybe you'll find one.
You should have been born in the Dark Ages; you look terrible in the light.
You should toss out more of your funny remarks; that's all they're good for.
You started at the bottom - and it's been downhill ever since.
You used to be arrogant and obnoxious. Now you are just the opposite. You are obnoxious and arrogant.
Have fun, and remember, an insult is better delivered when you turn on your heel and walk away after delivering it, because it doesn't give the chance of a retort.
Oh, and if you need a few more for future needs, just ask the witch!

WHY do women feel the need to act like that?? you'd think she would want to be nice to you....maybe she has a huge crush on your OH and is very jealous of you
Anyway, you're far too good to notice her evil bitchiness, just calmly rise above it as you're so much better than her!!!! (Broomys one liners are ACE though....wouldnt personally have the modjo to use them!)
Hope it gets better for you soon sweetie  we all love you!!! >_<

She sounds like a nightmare! I have a certain woman in my life who i would love to tear a new one but due to work and professionalism and all that rubbish i have to hold back...
Be aware though, every time she bitches about you she is giving herself a reputation for being someone who does that sort of thing... if she does it too much it will mean that it holds no weight because 'it's just so-and-so, she's always putting someone down'... this is what is starting to happen with the girl who bitches about me, she has slagged off so many people (usually people who don't deserve it) that now it is expected of her by anyone who knows her and not taken seriously... people just think that what she says is rubbish.
As for your other half - in an ideal world he would stand up for you and politely but firmly put her in her place but in reality most boyfriends don't seem to want to get inbetween two warring girls... for some reason!!
