It's the day before your first performance...
... You are nervous enough as it is.
Then on the way to uni, you fall down an icy slope, managing to do the splits fantastically on the way down, and cut up all your left leg and foot.
Sigh!

Ouch!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you're OK. If your performance has a Halloween theme maybe your injury could be part of the routine?!?

Yeah it's ok. A little painful but ok. I'm wearing knee high socks for my halloween routine so that will be fine, and for the second routine, my shoes will cover the foot which is the worst. My very grazed (and by tomorrow, probably very bruised) knee will be on full view
It's ok though.Snowflakes and Sparkles

Aww,
Are you ok?? Did you check your bleeding foot?? Forgot to tell you that arnica is brilliant for clearing up bruises but it probably ownt work overnight-thats why I suggested the camouflage make up from the chemist its very thick and opaque and can be used to cover birth marks and sometimes tattoos. It might be worth looking into because although its expensive to buy you can usually get a tester sample
When you told me earlier what had happened I wanted to cry....
Hope you'll be ok sweetie

Pooooo - that's bad luck
Have you tried a bit of ice therapy to alleviate the swelling / bruising? Stick an ice-pack on it for 10-20 mins every hour - though after the first 24 hours or so this won't have any effect

Awww, hope your ok.
I would say make up is your best bet to cover the bruising.
You'll be great though.

Ouch!
As long as you can still dance on it, you should be good to go.
I don't remember ever having performed without bruises on my legs.
Just remember, no one will be looking at your knees.
Good luck, normally I would say "break a leg" but in this case, it seems a tad inappropriate.

Aaw hun!
I checked my foot. It wasn't bleeding too much, just a huge graze more than anything with a nice layer of skin off
Thanks to everybody for your advice. I have heaps of Savlon on it. I won't have much time to run out and find stuff tomorrow so will probably just cover it with make up.
And, as you said Bonny, no one will be looking at my knees!Snowflakes and Sparkles
