So many songs to choose from on my list.
Couldn't pick between these two for summing me up so one is "Love and Affection" by Joan Armatrading and the other is "Goody Two Shoes" by Adam Ant! Sad, I know.

And because I'm a romantic, though after my disastrous night out yesterday I think I may be wrong to hope for this, what I want in life is to feel this and have someone feel it for me, and it would be "The Sweetest Feeling" by Jackie Wilson.

Oooh, for now: Massive Attack, Teardrop Love, love is a verb. Love is a doing word sounds better with the music lol!

And, for the future hmmm... Nina Simone 'Feeling Good'. Looooove that song, so empowering.

At the risk of sounding like I'm wallowing in (rather late!) teenage angst Freak by Radiohead does speak to me

YouTube - Radiohead - Creep (music video)

For the future - not very deep but something like Cabaret as a theme tune would be good! (But maybe without the nose!)

YouTube - Cabaret - Life is a Cabaret

or even Don't Dream It Be It from Rocky Horror

YouTube - Rocky Horror Picture Show [scene 30]

Ooooh Vie, 'Goody Two Shoes' by Adam and the Ants was the first record I ever bought (showing my age now!!!!). An ex said that it summed me up as I am a bit of a goody-goody!!!!!!!

Also edn, I love cabaret but prefer 'mein herr', 'money', or 'wilkommen'!!!!!!

Mine was "Young Parisiens" by Adam and the Ants, which very few people seem to know.

Normally people ask you to pick 1 song and it's such a pain! Atleast with 2 you have the option haha

Mine would probably be Fighter, Christina Aguilara and Misery Loves Company, Emilie Autumn

The first one cus everyone has people they have to stand against to get to where they wanna be, and the second one because, unfortunately, a lot of the men I've had dealings with in my life so far have been mostly scum haha

Hmmm the song for someone I care very much about (havent met them yet but hey this is on spec right?!!) would be 'Love will keep us alive' - The Eagles. My theme song hmmm . . . thats tough because it changes often but I guess one that has been consistent for me would be 'Acoustic #3' by The Goo Goo Dolls.

I'm not usually even remotely into Country and Western but "The Long Way Around" by the Dixie Chicks I think really sums up my attitude to life - I love that song!

I really like "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen too, it's simply sublime, but I don't think it's attitude really says a lot about me personally right now, so for the purposes of this thread I'll bypass it and let my inner Sci-Fi geek loose for my second choice - the Theme Song from the criminally short-lived TV series "Firefly" :twothumbs:

Iolair will now be a very happy bunny!
