I've had an hour or two's scroll through the heyday of the LP.
Quite like:
Out of the Blue, by The Electric Light Orchestra.
Brothers in Arms, by Dire Straights.
Bat out of Hell, by Meat Loaf. (Coz I luuuurve the Harley Chopper.)

But if had to choose something to cover my naughty bits, it would be Brian Ferry.
Brian can park his slippers under my bed anytime he likes. Think I need a cold shower and a lie down!

totally agree I love Hipgnosis covers especially

I'd been thinking about this one in particular, I thought the triangle upside down might be interesting as the cover to cover a ladies lower regions....

And at the mo, I'm considering Scorpions Lovedrive to cover one boob, I'm pretty sure I've got that somewhere upstairs, unless it was one of the ones I sold when broke at college (along with my favourite Matt Bianco....) and I've been trying to think of another great one for the other boob....but Broomstick Pilot has made me think of Roxy Music Country Life

mind you....brain pings, Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers or Forty Licks could be funny in place of Dark Side of the Moon....

Mind you, I'm erring more and more to the 'hypothetical' photo being more stunning if it were lps and singles and perhaps a 12 inch for comedy value rather than their covers....

...and suddenly Velvet understands Miss Devyne's quest. Velvet wondered for a minute what Tempest was going to use for the refracted beams of light but she gets it now. Velvet thinks that sometimes being blonde is more hassle than it's worth.

PS She also thinks that the idea is great and is intrigued to see the results.

Well I'm interested to hear people's fav album covers coz I love the artwork on them and I have discovered some new ones I hadn't seen before through this post....but I'm also thinking of doing some photos with a mate up a ladder with a camera....
