Monster Mash
Messieurs et mesdames,
Mwahahahahahahaha (Halloween for Hello) :daft:
Seeing as its the turn of the seasons and Halloween is almost upon us I thought it would be fun to know what everyones favourite scary movies are? (Dont worry I'm not wearing my scream mask whilest writing this . . . its far to warm in here lol!).
Or if you aren't much of a one for horror movies what about your favourite ghost story? Or who is your scariest monster?
Or even if you have had any brushes with the paranormal/preternatural yourself? (I always find this very interesting and it generally spark quite interesting debates!).

My fave horror movie has to be 28 days later those zombie's scare the shit out of me. I don't normally scare easily but there is something about that film that plays with my mind, I can't sleep for days after watching it :worried:
My own scary experience . Well when I lived in High Wycombe I lived in a share house and it was haunted. One girl woke up to find a little girl holding her hand, and i had vases and other glass things hurled of the fire place and shelf. One of the girls boyfriends didn't believe us it was haunted till we lef him there alone one night. Apparently the light would go on and off and he heard people walking in the hall. He wouldn't stay there alone by himself ever again!

I know what you mean about Zombies, I just have a feeling that vampires I could deal with ok (I reckon you could reason with Dracula, keep him talking til the sun comes up and then accidentally open the curtains!), same goes for the wolfman (you can take him down from a distance with a silver bullet also he is only out on the full moon), the mummy (just unravel him) and frankenstein. But zombies just freak me out, they are like shambling unstoppable death machines (set them on fire they keep coming, chop bits off they keep coming as do the severed bits), plus in all the newer zombie movies they've become super fast! Eeep! :help:
Ha ha, no way I work in High Wycombe! Lol.
I've had multiple spooky experiences over the years and I used to be a big believer but I dont know if its just because I am getting older and more jaded I've become a bit more of a Scully than a Mulder!

my favourite is final destination number1-strange choice i know! The reason is that 3 of us went to the cinema, and the bloke HATED horror films, while me and the girl lived them. We told him it wasn't a horror but a fil about a bus, and the whole time he sat there with his hands over his eyes! Brilliant.

my husband doesnt like me talking about what we have seen in our cottage because he says people wont believe us and think we are nuts.. but i dont care lol so here goes
we were lying on the sofa and the door to the kitchen was open. we both saw a black figure walk past the door. i got up because i thought it was one of our children and went into the kitchen calling them..no one was there
we were having a row one night and my husband went downstairs and left me in bed. i heard this terribly loud clatter and i went downstairs and the mirror that had been hanging on the wall for 10yrs had fallen off and was on the floor..a stone floor..unbroken, but the floor was damaged.. my husband was in another room and swears he didnt go near it
i was upstairs in the bath and i had the door open to the hallway. my husband came upstairs and froze. he could see down the hallway, a young girl watching me from the doorway. at first he thought it was one of the children (although they were not at home at the time) he turned the hall light on and the figure disappeared. my husband went looking for her, and asked me if i was talking to anyone.. he can tell me what she was wearing and what she looked like.
my friend came to stay and she was on the pc and someone walked past the open door to another room and my dog..a very big st bernard was following to heel.. the dog knows hes not allowed into the front room but followed anyway. my friend said..omg there is someone in your house and went to another door that leads to the same room and went to look but no one was there. she can describe what the girl was wearing
some other friends were with us in our hot tub and one stood up and said i think i just saw someone walk past your window..we just said...oh its ok its just the ghost..lol
my son said to me..im sure our house is haunted, im sure last night i saw someone walk past my bedroom door and go downstairs but when i went to look no one was there.
other stuff has happened too
