shall i tell you a sad spiritual story
yeahhhhhhhh why not. hehe
my mum has a lot of ghostly things happen to her..once she went to spain with 2 friends and she got thrown in the pool when she just got there and was standing by it talking to her friends,,clothed and with handbag..she couldnt get her head above water and could feel someones hand on top of her head pushing her down.. she asked the owner if someone had died in the villa..the man said no but my my mum could sense that someone had.
my mum can pick the phone up before its actually rung and no you are on the phone.
anyway, she has had so much stuff happen to her that she decided to join a spooky school at a church once a week. she was the star pupil and could talk to the people going there about their loved ones that had died..
my aunty(from my dads side) came to stay with my mum and wanted to go to see if she could talk to her dad (my grandad) that had died ages ago..i can hardly remember him it was that long ago. anyway.. my mum couldnt get through to him but kept getting 2 children coming through wanting to speak to their mum.. no one came forward to say those children our mine..my aunty went home and my mum kept getting stuff coming through to her all week. my mum put it all into place and got upset by it all and called my aunty up.. she had lost twins when they were born..i think they were a few hours old or something..anyway it was those children coming through and wanting to tell their mum (my aunty) that there grandad (my auntys dad who she was trying to talk to ) was looking after them and not to worry they are fine. i cried when my mum told me and so did my aunty.
my mum isnt a gypsy and doesnt go around telling people stuff. shes just a normal mum struggling to make a living by working really hard and she doesnt talk much about the stuff that happens as people think shes mad.
she once told someone where their son or grandson..i cant remember now.. was buried in a different country. (this was at spooky school) the son had been at war and got killed and no one could find the body..she doesnt go to this school anymore and she wasnt one of the people that worked there. she was just someone that was interested in it and used to go to watch..
it was all free by the way
she cant just meet you and tell you stuff, she had to go to spooky school with the experts coaching her. but she has had loads of stuff happen to her and can tell when something bad is going to happen to one of her family and calls them up to tell them to be careful.
she also used to live with a ghost that formed a smell. i smelt it once. he used to walk up and down the stairs and down the hallway. you could only hear him.. my mum found out that the man that used to live in her house died of gangrene to his leg and the smell was terrible

Hi Chantilly,
I think it's great that you can share your experiences - if you don't who will? If no one talks about their experiences how can we ever come to understand them?
People experience unusual and spooky things all the time. Ironically, it's a normal part of the human experience .
If we feel we can't express them as they actually happened and instead, try to explain them away or make them fit a theory, what is the point?
I think I'll go and start a specific thread on just such experiences - where everyone can tell their stories and chat about them too.

Not if Dracula looked like Christopher Lee...there would be no reasoning there, and no resistance either!
I'm glad the ghosts haven't chosen to talk to me, I don't think I'd like that very much at all! I think sometimes that family members have talked to me in my dreams, and I can feel it really strongly when I've woken up that there was an actual communication of some kind, but most people seem to say "it's just a dream", it doesn't mean anything. I don't know.
I think my grandad might have visited us once, just after he died. Light switches were going on and off, and the computer even turned itself on (that would be typical of my grandad, he loved his computer :lol
.
My uncle died of cancer years ago, and my auntie says he gave her a visit one day. Apparently he was really fussy about the towels that used to get hung over the banister to dry...my auntie would leave them crumpled and he'd straighten them out every time. After he'd died, she hung some towels out, went into the bedroom, and when she came out they were all straight. She can't be completely sure that she didn't do it herself, because she was thinking that's what he would have wanted, but she's pretty convinced that she didn't.
As for horror films, I don't find many to be that frightening, but 28 days later does scare me! I don't really like "zombie" films, but that's different. The start sequence of the sequel was pretty bad, too. Really tense.
I can't watch the Shining on my own. It's one of the few films that really terrifies me. My boyfriend does the "red rum" thing with his finger because he thinks it's funny
