I spent a couple of years working in Jersey, and couldn't believe the interest people had in the minutiae of other people's lives. With the absence of anything more interesting going on tittle-tattle was elevated to the status of news. Don't people really have nothing more constructive to do with their lives? honestly. You couldn't go out for a few pints without someone knowing someone knowing someone who knew you were out. It was rediculous.

And the puerile nonsense that was spread at a college I was at in my early 20s, just because my face didn't fit... But that's something long buried.

I just don't get it. Hence the liking for city life. I rediscovered anonymity, and people with better things to worry about.

Hi Miss D. Well, I was a CI then an Adult Warrant officer with Bournemouth ATC for some time, our paths might have crossed at shooting or flying or D.O.E or exercises at some time.

And I tend to agree with you about city life coz living where I do I cannot fart but some bugger knows what time I did it and how bad it was by next day!!

I remarked one day that a certain lady in the town that I knew was quite a looker to me.................Three days later Louise gets told I wanted to get of with said woman.

I know tell nobody anything in the town, not even my mother in law!

My boy was in the ATC, here in Derbyshire

Ok, just to clear things up, the contents of that post were views expressed by my mother in a state of over reaction....I do not in anyway believe them and nor should anyone else.

I know for a fact she watches FAR too much tv and if she actually met December she would immediately be reassured as to her loveliness and general non drug taking cultist pimping tendancies :yes:
