Lord Dashwood, you should definitely get one! I'm tempted myself. They're great for doing stairs and just picking up a few bits of fluff, without having to drag the hoover out. i'm on a mission to raise awareness of the Ewbank!

I'm really safety conscious when it comes to fire hazards. I don't know why. I have a gift for sussing out fire hazards- I even do it in public, eg if a shop has something unsafe. I'm not even especially scared of fire so I don't know where my sfatey awareness comes from.
It's also only fire-wise. Other things, like rhinestoning over my bare legs, I fail to notice. Until I drop a hot rhinestone on my leg and have to pick it off :cry:Snowflakes and Sparkles

I generally stick them to the end of my fingers for some reason. Obviously just for amusement!

Hmm, this thread has raised my awareness of a few things namely;
a) how everyone needs a Kandi Kane :yes:
b) my house needs vacuumed...
c) I need a fireman/geek... :lol:
So if anyone feels they can help... :lol: where do you get Kandi Kanes from? Everywhere seems to be out of stock

I'm always superglueing my elbows to my desk. Not deliberately, mind.
I spill the glue, lean on the desk... The rest is history.
Thank heavens for a craft knife and flaking paint on the desk.

There are loads and loads of Kandi Kanes on Ebay, Amethsyt. A few of them give away free crystals with your order too.
How does a geeky fireman sound? I don't know any but I will keep my eyes peeled for you!
I have a habit when rhinestoning, of sticking my tongue out in concentration. When I wait for the glue to bubble, my tongue is out, the kandi kane is at the same level, pointing towards it... I always want to stick one on my tongue. I won't actually do it, it's just a curiosity thing.
My Dad is similar, though the difference between us is he will actually do it- once, whilst driving, he took out the car lighter thing and though "I wonder what would happen if I put this on the end of my nose?" So he did. He had little concentric circular burns on the end of his nose for days!Snowflakes and Sparkles
