Our own Molly Toff Cocktail from Wales also does Hoop Burlesque , but unfortunately don't have a clip of her last performance. It was outstanding!

Hi hun,
I am a massive hooping fan, i 1st did it on a hen weekend and it was so good, i rushed home and bought a hoop
Youtube is full of fantastic tutorials, but classes are available quite widely, i know Virgin gyms do them now too.
Re: buying a hoop. I got mine on ebay. I think it was about £20 or so. Make sure you get a weighted hoop, and that it is big enough for tricks. Mine is a 2kg 36" hoop - and is perfect for learners. Here's the ebay seller i used... cockahoop hula hoop items - Get great deals on hula hoop, exercise items on eBay.co.uk Shops!
Have fun.

Aw thank you everyone!!!
However I am still a pesky indecisive girl!
Is a hoop with a 1m diameter going to be big enough for me to be able to learn the basics?
I've spotted some on firetoys and in the ebay shop recommended, I think I'd like to start with a light-medium one.
However, I can't make a decision!!!!

Great, although now I'm not sure which weight to go for!
The firetoys ones are either medium diameter (1m) and quite light (600g) or large diameter (1.25m) and heavy weight (800g).
There are more size and weight choices on the ebay store, 30-41" and either unweighted, 1kg or 2kg.
I don't really know where to start! It also recommends a 40" hoop for taller people and beginners or a 38" for average size people who know the basics. I am many of these things! Who'd have thought it would be so complicated!

I've now got a pub hula hoop team
we're called the Jean Genies, and we do have a facebook fan page lol... but it's only really for us to share videos and techniques at the minute, there's no footage of us as yet.
Lots of fun though
I'm not looking forward to hooping tonight, I just got a tattoo on my leg and I think it's gonna cane if I do too much xx
