A quick greeting & web design help.
Hi there people.
I am in the process of setting up a website selling on vintage goodies. I haven't gotten very far yet as I've only just started. So far I only have the images, logos and text sorted. I'm not very experienced in web design and I know a lot of you have set up your own businesses. I was just after some advice and help with it. Do you host the site yourself? Do you know of any good sites that can help you set up your own site? How do you link the site to your bank account or paypal account? And any other hints or tips you might be able to pass on.

Welcome to MoB, We are a lovely bunch of people.

Now I have a little experience of web design (well watching hubby web designing while I twiddle my thumbs) and it is not particularly easy! There are plenty of sites that you can build your own webpage on using templates (not sure about shops but I assume you can do them too).
Your website is going to be your first contact with your customer, and you will want to make a good impression, so I think it is worth paying a good web designer to put it together for you, to give you somethig really breathtaking and unique. It will also give you more options over what pages you use etc...
Good luck with it, and let us know when it is up and running.
