Default Biscuits!

I'm mid debate on the subject and would love to know what you think - jaffa cakes and fig rolls, are they biscuits or cakes?

I saw the title to this and a light went on in my head... I have cookies in the biscuit tin in the kitchen! I went to check and they're not there! I've already eaten them and forgot! I was pretty traumatised by it!

haha, anyway, I think they're biscuits.

We may all think they are biscuits but according to the high court they are in fact cakes, there was a big legal battle with HM Customs and excise over this, as Cakes and Biscuits attract different rates of VAT

Jaffa cakes are cakes for the reason White Knight stated. They had a big legal battle over it!
