I heard on a on the TV last night that on average women's NY resolutions only last 5 days, and mens only 6 days on average!
We MUST prove that wrong

Mine is simply to get my ass away frm my desk and take photos
of things that I want to... Not have to...
I'm missing my creative muse..... (Not got one at the moment)
So, planning a 2 to 3 week trip to Scotland in start of Jan
to do some photography.... (Maybe)...

Go for it Tempest! I will if you will! Plus it soudns to me like they need something new on the scene - showgirl glamour and glitz sounds passe, show them some proper Burlesque !
Oh, also I love your Christmas themed profile picture!

You must try and stick to this one. I believe that 'you' time is really important. Life flies by at such a rapid rate, you must do the things that you want to do and the things you enjoy... no point in looking back with regrets.
That's how i try to live my life anyway! Every now and then i try to take a step back and stop the 'merry go round' before i reflect and then get back on... sometimes in a different place. *she says deep in thought about having just spent 10 hours in front of her PC working!*

I always have about a dozen resolutions! They're usually things to be achieved by the end of the year rather than things to start on 1st January and continue with. I never manage them all, but if I succeed at a few I consider myself victorious!
My intentions for 2010 are (so far):
1. Eat breakfast every day (been trying for about 7 years...)
2. Re-learn the violin (2nd year trying...)
3. Re-learn the guitar (been trying for about 3 years...)
So you see the theme? If at first you don't succeed...
New ones:
4. Learn to ride the unicycle and/or juggle
(probably "begin learning" is more appropriate)
5. Release my first electronica CD
(by "release" I mean only mean record about 10 tracks for my own amusement!)
So by 2011 I might even be able to ride the unicycle while I play the violin!
Good luck to everyone else with their endeavours for 2010!

Debs- it is just a little too early for my good self to commit to such heady deeds. Kitt - good luck with the archery. The good Doctor is actually a bit of a dab hand, but be warned my dear fellow- it can get rather expensive. Dear Bartholemew, I do indeed like your style- admit to limited success and start over.

Okay I'll probably only achive 1 but...
For me its going to have to be...
1; loose the weight!!
2; Own some ceramic flying ducks and display them in my own house.
3; Make at least 2 corsets and 4 frocks.
4; Take a dance class .
5; Start the access course for Radiography BSc.
6; Be a good example of a 'young' single mother (should be No1 but hey a girls got her priorities haa haa)

for 2010 I'm making a New Years' Resolution...not what you think, no personal improvement, quite the opposite!!! I hereby resolve to REVEL in my imperfections, to celebrate the flawed being that I am!!! It's taken over 1/4 century to get me to this point, and it turns out I like the person that I've become! Happy New Year all, here's to an amazing 2010 xxx

hmm well I suppose in the back of my mind there are the ones I always have- lose weight, stress less etc..
But my main one this year is to finally get out there and actually do all the things I always talk about doing!! I'm too much of a thinker, I never actually do anything just talk about it for aaaaages. Its definitely time to put all my ideas into action. Thats the plan anyway, haha.
Amber- I really like your resolution I think its such a great outlook!!
Happy New Year all!!
xx
