South Wales Ladies/Gents - Afternoon Tea
I'm thinking of organising afternoon tea for south wales ladies if there'd be any interest? Proper 50s style afternoon tea, am going to scout venues in Cardiff, I know one place in Pontypridd that would possibly do it but was trying to make in a central place. Anyway, input would be appreciated

OMG, definitely!!!!! I need an excuse to wear my petticoat!
I'm sorry I can't recommend anywhere but once you've found a venue, I'd be happy to help with the organising.
Oh, just one small request- please can it be after 6th July, I'm in manchester the week before that

lol that shouldn't be a problem sweetie, I've still got to find a venue and get organised. I've found that St Davids Hotel in Cardiff Bay does afternoon tea daily but you have to book in advance so will contact them

Great idea. Just a suggestion- if it turns out to be expensive, we could make/bring our own cakes, drinks etc & have a picnic. Although with our weather......could be a disaster!

OOOOOOH, I like this idea, too.
There's no reason why we can't do both, I suppose... though maybe not on the same day

if the weather is good sofia gardens (cardiff) is beautiful, lots of lush open space and ususally not too busy!
Otherwise what about flloyds boutqiue? they have a lil cafe hidden above, not a big place and they have to buzz you in but that is a beautiful lil place!
When you thinking of tea?

oooh thanks for the suggestions! we could indeed do both
escpecially with all the nice weather we're having recently
No set date yet Kitty, I thought I'd put it out there to see if there was any interest. It'd be so nice to have an afternoon with just ladies at leisure

ok people, tea seems to be working out a little expensive so how about a retro picnic? we can all bring treats and drinks with us and be our glamorous best in the sunshine
