For top quality swedgers* before the show, why not nip just along the road to the Candy Shake shop - located in the former Zavvi on Argyle St - selling an amazing range of confectionery - and owned by the lovely Mitchell family who also own the building housing the Panopticon!

*swedgers = glesga slang fur sweeties

I wouldn't use the expression "celtic prozie" too loud in the Trongate.... could be fairly badly misinterpreted!!!

This is a shameless hijack of a post, but does anyone fancy a Glasgow drinks meet up? Potentially just for a few wee drinks (not necessarily attached to a Burlesque event?)

Been ages since I saw anyone from the scene, but not able to attend a lot of events...

    What does everyone think?

    xx

I'm free pretty much any evening for the next week and a bit. So give me a time and a place and a pint of Glenfiddich.
