    Smile Latitude 2009!

    Hey there Guys and Dolls,

    Is anyone planning on going to Latitude this yr?

    Tickets go on general release this monday

    Latitude Festival :: Home

    I have been the last 2 yrs and there is a strong burlesque /cabaret contingent that is well worth the trip alone

    I would defo recommend it!

    Last yr i had the pleasure of seeing Vicky Butterfly , Lenny Beige, Dusty Limits , Gawkagogo , Trixie Malicious, Miss Cherry Ripe, Bearlesque and most memorable Lucifire do her Tree Suspension act which was spellbinding to say the least

    I'm supposed to be moving to Norwich soon, Latitude looks like the nearest good event so far- love the podpad camping idea! Never done a festival before ( I know, and at my age!)- is Latitude a good starting point?

    Honey Latitude is great esp the cabaret tent HOWEVER they seem to be increasing capacity yr on yr but not increasing the size of arenas/tents. i.e comedy tent, etc

    if anyone else is coming along I have a photo pass. So look out for (probably - i do tend to be at music festival etc) the best dressed photographer in the photo pit! hahha

    I am going along to Latitude- the first festival I have been to in years that involves camping. I suspect I shall be the worst dressed and least prepared photographer at the front, and I am slightly nervous about being in the open air after the intimate and sophisticated nights at the Glasgow Cabaret Festival.
