Imelda May in Southampton
I was very lucky to see Imelda May perform at The Brook in Southampton in November and she is returning in February! :excited: Hooray! :excited:
She has previously been mentioned on another of the threads so I thought I would start this one off so that I could let people know about it. The date is Friday Feb 6th and, again, she will be at The Brook, in Portswood, Southampton. Advance tickets cost £10 and on the door £12.
I am really hoping to go and see her again as I thought she was absolutely brilliant (as is her album, Love Tattoo), so, if anyone is interested, perhaps we could arrange a group trip?

I REALLY enjoyed it last time (the support group were good too and an unexpected treat) so I really want to go. I just don't want to be billy-no-mates and be stood there on my own.

I know! I am so upset! My friend has let me down and, as she was meant to get tickets, I don't have a ticket. Very disappointed.
The Brook have put me on a waiting list and have suggested I go tomorrow night and hope someone returns a ticket.
I SO, SO want to go!

Thanks to the lovely (and very talented double bassist) Al, I got to see Imelda May perform tonight and what a fabulous night it was!
Every single one of the musicians is brilliant and I think Imelda May is probably one of the best singers I've ever had the fortune to see perform. She is also an incredibly friendly person, talking to several of us after the show.
It was a really, really great night and I am so grateful I got to go and I can't stress highly enough how much I think eveyone else should go and see them all too.
xx
