Thread: Another Southampton Meet?
-

Now, there is the theme for the meeting!! I will wear a pair of my new ones too and we can have a fabulous shoe appreciation society! Though I may have to change mine en route too.
Hallidays is lovely - which is on Bedford Place - and a few of us have met there before so are people happy with there again? Or other suggestions?

I'm happy with Hallidays. I don't know Southampton at all so I'll be happy anywhere

it's Nearly Beloved's birthday that day so may be in trouble for deserting him-will work on persuading him though! He got me fab purple satin shoes for Crimble so can wear those in keeping with the theme

It's the weekend of Mr C's birthday too but he's quite happy with me leaving him and giving him an excuse to go to the pub
You could always try that approach!Snowflakes and Sparkles

Damn straight

Try giving a couple of his friends a call Honey, and get them to drag him off to the local

I would happily bring my laptop with it's woggle/toggle/dongle/whatever it's called thing along wth me so he would be entertained. Although, I think all of us glammed up in our new shoes should be entertainment enough! In a good, "Aren't I a lucky man" way, not in a "Why on earth do women put themselves through this for vanity" way.

I just had to get Mr C to explain what a woggle/toggle/dongle was lol.
Now he is shouting at his own computer and getting quite violent with it... Probably best you don't tempt him with yours! :lol:Snowflakes and Sparkles

my geeky boy!
Mr Lingers and Mr C can meet us, then I can send them to the pub with my sleek and shiny new laptop while we chat and eat! Think I have actually persuaded him I should come, then have his family round that night, then trek up to Hull to the big aquarium on the Sunday and stay overnight there. The things we do for love....
