Meeting in the South?
As there seems to be a trend in other parts of the country to plan get-togethers, and I'm jealous!, I was wondering if we could plan something for down here?
As I think some of us don't have cars and there might be a way to travel, perhaps we could meet on a Saturday lunchtime? Depending on where more people were centred we could meet in the closest city, whether it be Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester or Bournemouth, or somewhere else.
What do all you lovely people think?

Ooh I love the idea of this!
I vote Winchester (though I would, wouldn't I?)
Honestly though there isn't much to do in Winchester. It's very pretty and there is a beautiful little cocktail place (though I've never been there). It is very little so may get a bit packed.
But yeah, this sounds fun. Winchester or Southampton I could do. I don't think I could manage anywhere further because of transport.Snowflakes and Sparkles

Nor do I!
I was thinking people could all meet at the station with somebody who does know Southampton. Like a tour group
I doubt I could get to Bournemouth and back again just for one evening.Snowflakes and Sparkles

So excited this might actually happen! I don't mind where we meet as I have to get a bus wherever I go anyway. It would just be so great to meet you!
Let me know dates and times when you are free and, hopefully, we will get a few more people too, and I will sort out the date most are free on (would it be too optimistic to hope we will all be free on the same day?).

Sorry, double posting! But December's post came up after I wrote mine.
If Southampton was decided on I would happily meet people from the station but then we could do that in any city. Perhaps we should go for a Saturday lunchtime so transport is good and we don't have to worry about travelling back too late?

I can do Southampton - but could we do it after the fashion show or meet up again after the fashion show?

That sounds like a plan Miss Annie. Gives us all time to sort out various sundry things before the 16th then relax after it.

Can I suggest the 29th November? Southampton? The train and coach station are both fairly central and I am happy to meet anyone anywhere to make it easier.
Suggestions for where you would like to go? Coffee? Bar? Lunch?
