Thread: Nottingham / Derby 'get-together' anyone??

Right - am jumping well and truly on this get-together bandwagon. Am sooooo jealous as the others sound great, wish I could be there.

Soooooo........who's up for a get-together in either Nottingham or Derby one Saturday afternoon in December (maybe 6th)?? I'm bang in the middle of Nottingham and Derby so don't mind either. Just let me know which you prefer and any suggested meeting places and we can take it from there.

I'll be there ... the Mid-Midlands needs to be noticed!!

For location, I suggest Nottingham as it's bigger and there's more places to go - but I put in an early vote for the Pit!

I'm liking that suggestion Fleur. I've actually never been there (boohoo - don't get out much!!!) but sounds good to me. Anyone else fancy it too??

I agree that the east midlands needs to be more noticed. When you tell anyone that you live in the midlands they automatically think of Birmingham - not that there's anything wrong with Birmingham it's just that most people don't realise what towns / cities are actually in the midlands.
