Rufus runs with Rhymes with Purple Productions, who amongst other things, organise the Glasgow Dr Sketchy's.
I know there were very few places left on the Missy & Leyla workshop when I last checked at the weekend, but if you email director@rhymeswithpurple.net you should be able to get hold of Rufus there.

I take it you've manageed to juggle your schedule then?

Well I hope the lot of you have a blast! I'll be thinking of you all, sipping your cocktails, and generally being fabulous, as I sit at home, with a cup of tea, made from a used tea-bag, in my worn old cardigan, hunched over the flame of a single candle.....
:duck:

yup the schedule has been sorted - or should i say cancelled due to lack of interest for that date (no hall available)
I'm sure you to will have a blast sitting with ur feet up supping that cup of tea while we jiggle shimmy and generally work our butts off and probably come out looking less glamerous than we went in but at least we'll be wearing a smile:winkgrin:

sounds fine to me - my email says_
You should wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in or a burlesque style outfit. Corsets may not be suitable for this class .
Heels, dance shoes, trainers or bare feet are optional.
You may bring your own fans for your own use if you wish.
There will be no stripping or tassel-twirling at this workshop.
Although there will be an improvisation/routine building section of the workshop, you will not be expected to perform in front of the other students unless you wish to.
No cameras or recording equipment allowed. There will be an opportunity to be photographed with Missy & Leyla at the end of the class – photos will be emailed to students within one week of the day of the class .
At the end of the class will be an informal Q&A where you can ask Missy & Leyla any questions about their careers, the burlesque scene, performing , etc.
so i was thinking - white blouse and blue jeans with a pair of flats and heels:winkgrin:

I am trying to book a place for me and a friend (I hope there are enough places left!) If we get booked in I'd love to come along to the meeting for some burlesque chat and drinks!!
I'll let you know.
