Thread: Have many people actually met up?

I've met quite a few people in real life whom I first got to know through this online community and that's led to some brilliant friendships as well

So we are real people at the end of the IPs, showtime, in case you were thinking otherwise. We're not burlesque robots (aside from Tassel Bot, if that's still around), or monkeys (aside from James) or in Warren's case, badgers.

Best place to meet MoB-minded folk is at burlesque events around the country. Keep an eye on the events listings, say you'll be there, check out who else will be and then play match-the-avatar on the night. Loads of fun!

WE have a retro meet up every couple of months - or event a classic house weekend - where we all get dressed up for the event... oohh about 20 couples

Pretty much every otherday, sometimes weeks go by where I can't help but bump into someone I know from here.

I have met many of the people on here either at shows or performed with them. This thread has made me realize how so many of my close friends I met on here. X

I've met a gazillion people on here. Some through performing at the same place and a few through organised meet ups. They're all very lovely people

Unfortunately I have the same shyness problem. I'm awful at holding a conversation- I never know what to say. So if anyone has met me and thought I was being moody, I wasn't- I just got shy!

I am very lucky to say I have made some fantastic friendships with some absolutly lovely ladies from here. Some I would now call really good friends.

Today I had the honour of meeting the lovely Raspberry Ripples and it was fantastic.... we laughed and did make-up all afternoon..... bliss
