Traditionally trained in the art of Middle Eastern dance, Sapphira is a burlesque showgirl with an edge.
Her toes have twinkled on stages across London, Europe, the USA and her home town Melbourne, Australia. Sapphira has performed show-stopping routines at the Ministry of Sound, London Burlesque Festival and under the desert stars at Black Rock City for Burning Man in Nevada. A suitcase filled with fishnets has travelled far and wide.
A regular in London’s West End (but now based in Melbourne), she established the first dedicated belly dancing and burlesque event showcasing a dazzling array of international artists. www.shimmyshakeshow.com
