Hey Coco,
I dont perform at the moment, I do in front of family and friends I am debating about a live performance. I have a friend who is a glamour model and a friend who is a Burlesque dancer and they think I am great!

I am limited by my health, each performance means 6-8 weeks of pain and bedrest for me!

As for taking lessons, thats a personal choice I am a trained Gymnast and I took dance lessons since I was about 6, So I just pull on all of that really. But you already have a natural grace and elegance, dont worry about trying to be 'Burlesque-y' do whats comfortable and you will be sexy and captivating!

Ohh I really like the idea of the East African Slave Girl.....I think its unique while also raising some real historic issues! Sorry I am a huge history geek :S While saying that though I dont think it should be so severe in performance, the gothic twist I think will make a big impression, and you are very artistic in your movements, like a ballet dancer dont lose that its unique to you and I love it! Have you decided if its going to be severe, tantalising, slightly comedic etc.?

Thank you for the welcome!All's well here,it's just a bit hard to find instructional DVD's here,ordering from the UK is of course an option,but making money transfers is a real hassle!!!Love your vid and pics,btw!!!
