Roxy Velvert Performace at Jacksons Lane
Roxy Velvet presents
Murder!
Wednesday 10 – Saturday 13 March 8pm
Prepare yourselves for one of Jacksons Lane’s infamous cabaret nights, guaranteed to shock and satisfy audience’s vaudeville appetites.
Murder! is a raunchy and raucous game of burlesque Cludeo. There is a murder at the manor. Cut off from civilisation by inclement weather and geographical happenstance, the guests of his Lordship become suspects to their host's untimely demise.
Bear witness to a fearless line-up of the circus and cabaret elect in this riotously irreverent whodunit, oozing with nostalgic glamour and high octane talent.
This visually stunning tongue-in-cheek production is the perfect antidote to those March blues. Murder! brings its roguish cast of internationally acclaimed circus, cabaret and burlesque suspects to the scene of the crime and offers up an electrifying piece of contemporary theatre.
Presiding over the manor with rakish wit is his Lordship the Marquis of Gray whose fast and loose guests include the Amazing Ari the death defying and dazzling burglar, notorious Kitty Bang Bang and vintage fire vamp Lady Ane Angel. Putting the suspects though their paces is the singing detective and cabaret genius Mister Meredith, while the leading lady, Roxy Velvet , serves up decadent silver-screen elegance and fearsome aerial prowess.
Acclaimed and diversely accomplished performance artist and fetish pin-up star, Roxy Velvet directs this extravagant and dangerous cabaret show alongside Harper Ray. Roxy delivers aesthetically polished and fabulously glamorous stage shows. Murder! is a rare opportunity to see Roxy’s disarmingly seductive stage persona in action as she hardly ever performs in London nowadays.
Expect flamboyant aerial acts, whips, fire and even a snake! This ingenious and high-spirited whodunit is the crème de la crème of contemporary circus cabaret and an absolute must-see!
Late bar and candle-lit cabaret style tables for those who arrive early.
