Can I join the thwarted Mermaid ambition club? Always thought it looked like a nice job.....quite liked the aunts in Pushing Daises method of being mermaids too....If you can't grow a tail and gills then it looks like the next best thing....

Hahahaaa! Ok, Jay Manuel isn't fantastic but better than Jay Alexander I guess.

If I had to, I would choose Nigel Barker. It's the accent- he's just so so English!

Take that back Ms Charm - that man taught me to rediscover my neck in photos! I would seriously love to see an uncut photoshoot with him as director, I suspect I'd learn an awful lot that they have to cut out of the final show because of length. I love ANTM - I've learnt an awful lot and got some great ideas from it. I meant looks-wise. That man is srioously a legend and I have learnt loads too! I always laugh at the freaking out over kissing a man. They have to do that every series- did they not see it coming? And would their boyfriend's not understand that it is vital to the competition, and often a requirement in the career?

(I actually felt really sorry for Alex in this year's BNTM. When she got her hair cut she started crying because "My boyfriend will think I'm ugly. He hates girls with short hair". A lot of people probably took that as her being spoilt but my heart went out to her- Would her boyfriend not be love her however she looked? Would he not care that this was a way of helping her in the competition? That said a lot to me.)

Oh and the girls who freak out about getting naked for a shoot- they know it's coming.

Yeah I was going to mention that too. Look girls, you want to be models, it's your decision to have people look at your body, you haven't been forced into this....I imagine you want to be adored....why on earth do you get in such a tizzy if the photographer asks you take your clothes off (artistically) or act a little sexy?? The human body is a beautiful thing, in all its forms, and yet every series they cry and pout about having to reveal a little flesh. And don't even get me started on the ones bemoaning their 'huge' stomachs and how 'fat' and 'ugly' they are or we'll go even further off-topic than this thread already has! ooops
